GEORGETOWN — November 2, 2026. Georgetown Divide Public Utility District provides a free WaterSmart customer portal with consumption tracking and alerts for unusual water usage.
Early signs of a leak
The portal allows customers to view historical water use, receive notifications by email, text or voice and investigate possible running toilets, broken irrigation systems or other plumbing problems.
When a high bill can be reviewed
GDPUD publishes Policy 2170 describing a leakage-consideration process for customers who experience a significant bill increase due to a leak on their side of the meter. Eligibility conditions apply and the policy references participation in the WaterSmart portal.
Help and documentation
The utility’s website provides the application form and contact details. Customers should document repair dates, meter readings and invoices before requesting a review; a request is not automatic approval of a discount.
